Village Green News
After a successful first year last summer; the hip, eco-friendly store Bambootique has reopened with an expanded kids, misses and woman's sections (with help from Sean's daughter Madison's fashion sense). Offering selective clothing in only one size (so no one else around town will be wearing it!) they are redefining what an outdoor/surf shop can be. They also branched off "583" next door as a men's clothing and surf and outdoor store. The store features Sanuks, skateboards, Toms Shoes, Olukai and surfboards such as Dewey Weber as well as paddle boards (the latest craze—build that core!). Look for the land paddle board with the handmade Kahuna big stick. It's an oversized skateboard with a rubber tipped stick to guide you down the street.
Local surfer Joe Ament put it honestly when he looked around the store with a wide smile and said, "If I had enough money, this would be my closet."
Sean Klentzin and Lindsey Patrick have also announced they are set to wed this fall at The Hideaway. Congrats!
